Emergency Services

The City of Dexter is served by the Grand Meadow Area Ambulance.   

• The Volunteer Fire Department is made up of 24 firemen and is lead by a Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief.  
• 9 members of the Fire Department also serve as First Responders.

• The Fire Department serves all of the City of Dexter, Dexter Township and 50% of Sargeant Township.
• The Fire Department meets on the first and last Tuesday of every month at the Fire hall located at 107 South Main Street.
